The short 14mm sleeve is designed for applications where installation depth is limited. For the specified installation method, prepare an approximately 6mm diameter hole to a depth of about 15mm, insert the 14mm sleeve, then install and tighten the supplied 16mm screw.

The metal construction makes these fixings suitable for compatible wooden panels as well as selected stone, marble and tile applications, provided the material and thickness are suitable for drilling and expansion fixing.

How to Use:

1. Mark the required fixing position.
2. Check that the panel is thick enough and suitable for this type of expansion fixing.
3. Drill an approximately 6mm diameter hole to a depth of about 15mm.
4. Clean any drilling debris from the hole.
5. Insert the 14mm metal expansion sleeve until correctly seated.
6. Position the hinge, bracket or other hardware over the fixing point.
7. Insert and tighten the supplied screw so the sleeve expands and grips inside the hole.
